Friday Financial Tidbit-How to save money eating out

Last week I admitted on the podcast how I enjoy eating out. Many of us do enjoy eating out and if you are like me, you are always looking for ways to save money doing it. If this describes you, have you checked out restaurant.com lately?

Restaurant.com is a great site to check out because it offers local restaurants’ gifts cards at reduced prices. Some up to 60% off! Simply go to the website and enter your zip code or city to search for any restaurants offering you good deals. You might be surprised and find a new restaurant to try out or perhaps gets discounts at restaurants you are frequently visiting. It is also good for traveling to find local establishments and get a good deal. One of the downsides, however, is that most of the restaurants have a minimum purchase requirement of $35 so make sure ahead of time that you will be able to purchase that much food to redeem the gift card.

So, next time you are looking for a good deal eating out try out restaurant.com. Who knows, you might get to enjoy a nice dinner as well as get a good deal!

What has been your experience with restaurant.com? Do you know of any other ways to save money on eating out? Please leave a note in the comment section below.
