Debt Free Living Podcast-006 Todd and Megen Crispin

Listen to Episode 006

Todd and Megen Crispin join us on today’s show to share how they paid off $26,000 in debt. The Crispins had always thought about getting out of debt but they got serious in January of 2010 and paid off all their debt this past June! They now have $900 a month that was going to debt payments that is now working for them.

It was not an easy journey, however, as they had to change a lot in their lives. But through it they learned that they did not have to spend money to have fun. By paying attention to their spending for the first time they were able to make serious headway in knocking out their debt. As Todd said, “You can really save a lot of money if you just think of what you are doing.”

Overall, it has helped their marriage and they were able to take a vacation with their family this November that was paid for in cash! In addition to traveling more they are also looking forward to starting a family debt free.
