If you have been a follower of the blog this month you know that the theme has been about being able to reach your financial goals for 2012. On the podcast we started off the year by having guest Steve Stewart on not one, but two podcasts going over the things you need to do before you can start to set goals. The next week I discussed the importance of having a dream and last week I went over the three things you must have before you can change your financial situation.
In addition, I have had the pleasure of having three guest posters share how setting goals has impacted their overall lives, not just their finances. Deacon Bradley shared how to take your finances to the next level in 2012 and why he stays focused on his main goal. Jeff Dalverny talked about the importance of accountability in setting goals and how that enabled him to pay off over $35,000 in consumer debt. Finally, Chris Peek discussed how setting goals has led both him and his wife on an incredible adventure that is still going.
But enough about other people; what about you? 2012 is a fresh start for everybody so you have no excuses anymore. What are you doing or going to do to be better with money this year? If you have listened to these podcasts and read others’ stories, then you should have all the tools to make the necessary changes to your finances. The thing is that you have to start TODAY; you cannot keep putting it off. The choice is yours, but if you do nothing this year and do not plan to succeed with money then you will end this year in the same spot you began it in. If you need help I am always available, so why not decide to make your 2012 a year of accomplishing your financial goals?
